Catching big air at the Windscape Kite Festival

This year marked the 10th anniversary for the very popular Windscape Kite Festival. Held in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, the festival took place in late June and featured enormous, bright kites and inflatables, celebrity stunt kite flyers and tons of family friendly activities.

Me and my boys attended for the first time this year. It was so WINDY and FUN. The perfect combo.

I have written an article on the festival for Pink magazine as well but if you prefer video to give you a sense of this dynamic festival, here you go (mind the novice skill level – I am learning). I would highly recommend this as a great family friendly festival to put on the radar for 2015.

Looking for more Saskatchewan festivals? Here’s another great one (although it’s in the winter).
